      °     Principles:basic data analysis and management ( 3 days, 7-9 March)

      °     Pratical project work: application for each participant for his own data (10-18 March)

Short description

The main purpose of the course is to introduce students of natural sciences (geography,agriculture,

biology...) to eco-hydrological data management and analysis with the statistical package R (www.r-project.org).

During the first three days we will teach the basic principles with a fixed cource program and selected data sets.

In the second part student will analyze their own data set together with the scientists (problem based learning).

Each practical unit will start with a short group discussion and presentation of the problems.

Lectures and dementrations will be held according to the practical problems encountered during the practical project work.
